If you have some video files that you want to burn on a DVD but have no idea how to do, this article will help you a lot. I will show you how to create a DVD using regular video, such as, DV video, TV program video, movie trailer, and other home video.
Tools we will need,
Wondershare Video Converter Platinum
Ifoedit
Wondershare Video Converter Platinum can convert video files to various video formats, it is able to convert video to VOB format, too.
Now start Wondershare Video Converter Platinum, click the ADD button to load files, specify the output format as "DVD Video Format (*.vob)", and hit Start, not long after that you will get a VOB file.
Rename these VOB files as: VTS_01_0.VOB, VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB and so on.

Start IFOedit
Now start Ifoedit
1. Click on the Create IFOs button.
2. Open the first VTS_01_1.vob
3. Select use same as source
4. And hit OK

Ifoedit will make the new .ifo files.

You must now set the default language. First for the VIDEO_TS.ifo
1. Click on VIDEO_TS
2. Double click on the audio
3. Set the languague to english
4. Hit Ok
5. Click save and owerwrite the VIDEO_TS.IFO

Do the same for the VTS_01_1.IFO
1. Click on VTS_01_1.IFO
2. Double click on the audio
3. Set the languague to english
4. Hit Ok
5. Click save and owerwrite the VTS01_1.IFO

Last fix the VTS sectors
1. Click on Get VTS Sectors
2. Select YES to process all IFO files

Quit ifoedit.
You should now have some ifo and bup files and the vob file. Test the DVD before burning it, use WinDVD or PowerDVD and select the partition with the VIDEO_TS as the default drive and play
