I met the same problem with xilisoft dvd creator. when i downloaded v3.0, everything works fine. the software works much faster with higher output quality. I like it. Cheesy It make my life much easier and the things faster. Here is something about v3.0:

* Trim Video - You could trim any segments of a video to burn to DVD.
* Support Video Miniature - You can set any segment or frame of a title as the title's video miniature in menu.
* Menu Editing - So many brilliant DVD menus to convert MPEG to DVD; Support selecting background music for a menu; Support selecting background image for a menu; Support editing the title text of a menu, and change the color of the text;
* Support preview - Support preview videos before creating DVD.
* Support setting actions after done- You can set the actions after finishing creating DVD, including "Shut Down", "Hibernate", "No Action", "Standby", "Close Application".
* Support directly playing main movie by skipping menu.
* Support several types of DVD disc including D5, D9 now.

uhmmm, the interface is nice too.

you can downlaod dvd creator v3.0 here:http://www.xilisoft.com/dvd-creator.html

I don't recommend you drag your files to the program when you are using xilisoft DVD Creator.  Software from xilisoft.com seems not so steady if you add files by dragging. Just add your videos through "file>add" or press the "add" button.

I don't mean Xilisoft is bad. You may find if there is a upgrade version for Xilisoft dvd creator at their offcial site.
