I have several issues:

I got tmpgenc.  1. But mpeg2 not free. (some mpg2 won't play at all on home computer.) 2. no luck creating a vcd to play on dvd (it sees vcd file but blank on playing it. followed tmpg instructions.)  3. Playing video after installing sp2 xp and wm11, every video is choppy.  4. divx playing upsidedown (newest version) and appears not good for dvd.

Should I just be happy with choppy wmv's?  Forget dvd or vcd's?  24mb/s is a bit ridiculous to keep on any hd.
