hi, Is there any automatic freeware that could join two AVI movies together so no one could notic the movie was split or joined? also could a .rar file be an .avi or something? I found a site to conver Avi, Divx and Xvid to DVD at http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm

You can try wondershare video converter platinum, it can join several avi files together and save it as vob/mpeg-2 format. You can have a try

It is true that Imtoo converter in this aspect is well but  I think it a little slowly

Compare to xilisoft video converter, I think the late one is better, the speed is more quick than the last one.
