hey! i rly am noob at this so whould be lovely if u chold help!

first some questions:

1: how do i get the movies to DIVX? is DIVX a own format, or can i "make" AVI/WMV to DIVX?

here is the quest:

Making a easy guide (lovely with pictures) of how to burn any format to a DVD+R / CD-R CD, that is playable at a DVD player, and how to put subtitles on the movie at the CD too.

here is the programs i got: (you dont need to use all of them xD)

WinAVI Video Converter
VirtualDub
VobSub
and all the Nero 8 Programs.
