Can someone help me with this. I am encoding a wide screen movie for my ipod and also my palm tx.  I can not see the dang thing it is so thin and was wondering what the process is to crop the sides down a bit to fit. Also if I can use this program to crop it, what size would I crop it to?

Pretend I am an old fart, which I am, so keep it in simple words Grin  I am using FairUse 2.6. the paid version, Thanks, Royal

If you're doing the automatic/wizard mode in Fairuse, you'll probably have to disable that. Click through the default options until you get to the screen showing the movie with dotted lines on the picture. Select 4:3 or 3:2, or whatever cropping you want, and then continue with the conversion process. hope that works.

sorry for the late reply! check "enable expert mode" on the second screen. if that doesn't work maybe it doesn't allow cropping in iPod mode?
