Can anyone help resolving a problem I'm having when playing back dvd's on a standalone DVD player, they play fine until near the end when it stops and starts continually, freezes for a few seconds then plays for a few seconds and so on.
I'musing convertX2DVD to convert usually from divx, Ive tried the movies on other players with the same result. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried the movies in your computer? I'm guessing either the discs you're burning with are crappy at the end (try compressing to 4.1GB not 4.3GB, smaller DVD file size), or your burner has issues, or convertX2DVD has issues. If you can burn to ISO image and open with Daemon tools, try that and see if it still has issues. If that works it's not convertX2DVD.
