Part 1: How to rip DVD
1. Download ‘Nidesoft DVD Ripper’ from

2. Click Nidesoft DVD Ripper Converter component. Load your DVD by clicking 'Open DVD' button or choosing 'Open DVD' from 'File' drop down menu. Several titles appear in the list after loading DVD.
3. As showed by the dialog box below, by clicking before the DVD title or ‘Expand’ button, you can expand the title tree and choose the titles or chapters you want to convert. And also you can preview the chapters in the preview window on the right top to find the chapters you like. Just highlight an item, and then press to play it. All the buttons are available.
4. Select the target output format: In ‘Profile Setting’, you can choose the format you want to convert your files to. And all the target formats are shown in the dropdown list.
5. After selecting certain output format, the right panel will show general standard of the format. You may specify it or just keep the default settings. Select the audio track, subtitle in the main interface for the highlight chapters.
6. Select the output folder by clicking the ‘Browse’ button or directly enter a path in ‘Output Folder’ box. The "C: emp" is set as the default output folder. Then, click ‘convert’, your converting process begins.
Part 2: How to rip video
1. Download ‘Nidesoft Video Converter’ from

2. Click Nidesoft Video Converter component. Load your video by clicking ‘Add File’ button or choosing 'Add File' from 'File' drop down menu. Several titles appear in the list after loading video

1. Why occour a message: 'MPEG2Dec: Error during decoder initialisation' or 'unable to read from E:VIDEO_TSvts_01_1.vob' everytime I put any DVD in?
First, Check that you select the correct DVD driver. If not, please select the correct DVD driver path.
Second, quite a few users encountered this error and have solved by using Nidesoft DVD Ripper. Plz download to try out.
2. Audio is out of sync with the video or no audio
There are several posts which says audio is out of sync with the video or no audio at all when they used cucusoft dvd to ipod converter or pq dvd dvd to ipod video converter. In fact, you might as well resolve the problem trying the following one by one with Nidesoft DVD Ripper.
If it doesn't work, might as well change a DVD movie to test. If still doesn't work, you may try another software. Load your DVD movie, set the mode you'd like to rip, and Click 'convert'.
