Hello all. I have a newbie question:

Using "ConvertXtoDVD" to convert my AVI's to DVD always produces poor quality video and audio.
Has anyone else noticed the same results with this program? Also, do all AVI to DVD converting prorams produce poor quality video and audio, or is it be just a ConvertXtoDVD deficiency?  Thanks a bunch!

Oh, I used to try lots of DVD burn tools, but a few can convert good quality video and audio files.
ConvertXtoDVD perhaps is good. But I think there are more DVD burn or DVD creator tools ,you can compare them. I think it is a best method to see reviews on topsevenreviews about dvd creator tool.
Or
I think you can try. Smiley

I too have experienced very very poor quality when I have converted. I E-Mailed the company but didn't receive a reply!!!  I would not advise anybody to buy this very bad program. The company needs to get their act together and fix the bugs or nobody will be buying!!!!

Hi,

there are many reasons why the outcome would be bad but usually the most common one is the source media not being good enough to produce a DVD without artifacts.

If you could give more details about the source file (bitrate, codec, resolution) then I can help you understand why the final DVD is not so good.

I have been using ConvertXtoDVD for some time and think its the best overall converter around I never have any issues with it, the only time when i have had a bad result is when the input file was not up to scratch. Make sure you are using good quality disc's such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn at 8x  and do a slow convert.
