I used this program to convert "The Green Mile" from DVD source to H.264 within an AVI container. The movie is about 3 hours long, if that gives you any indication of the original size.  After conversion, the file size ended up being around 1.3 gigs, and the quality was simply incredible.  I think I could have squeezed the size down quite a bit more and still ended up with a great looking picture.  H.264 is awesome, albeit slow as a molasses to convert.  And while Fairuse produces nice picture quality for DIVX, H.264 simply pounces on DIVX.  So......

I'd love it if Fairuse had support for an MP4 video container/Level 4.1 and ACC-LC audio.  Why?  Well, so my XBOX 360 can understand the H.264 video file.  It would sure save some time rather than having to demux and remux video and audio streams into MP4 containers, not to mention also having to convert the audio streams.   This is also applies to the PS3, which I'm sure some people would love to use as their H.264 video players.

So why not include these in a future build of Fairuse Wizard?  It sure would make alot of people happy.  Now to summarize it up for the people who loathe reading more than a few lines of text:

Support for: MP4 video container/Level 4.1
                 AAC-LC audio

That would be a great feature! With Media Extenders all over the place it would be great to have support for TiVO S3, PS3 and XBOX 360. I'm too greedy for my wish but I happen to own all of the above. Thank you! Looking forward to the next release and would gladly pay and support it.

The S3 will eventually be replaced with a cheaper model but still the same functionality. I use TiVO desktop software to transfer videos to the S3. I used Fair Wizard to convert a video to h.264 but AVI container but it didn't work. Still searching for the the killer app that would convert a video file to play h.264 for TiVO HD, PS3 and XBOX 360.

The main reason I want a MP4 / H.264 format is so I can use my Windows Home Server to store all my vides and all of my DVR and Media Extenders should be able to read and play the same file format without any issues.
