Hi fellow DVD coaster makers! I just spent several hours making 5 very expensive DVD coasters, so if this post sounds like I'm venting, I AM VENTING BECAUSE I'M PI**ED OFF!
I'm also going right back to videohelp.com and post this same information so they can remove the link to this incorrect Nero 6 DVD burning guide!
I have Nero 6, v6.6.1.5 just downloaded "e" earlier today so I have the latest release of Nero 6, and I'm using high quality Ritek DVD-R media.
I've read this guide
http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/40/59/ right off of this web site as I made all 5 of my new coasters this evening! Either this guide is screwed up and nobody is paying any attention to it, or this web site is screwed up and nobody is paying attention to it either! I'm not the only person whose posted problems with this guide, the comments below the guide are full of problem issues! Kinda makes ya wonder if there's anybody steering this boat? Any web guide writers around? I'd settle for the web site master if all else fails!
so many times my eye site is blurrying, I've tried 5 times to burn the indicated files first to a DVD-R and all failed. The failure message says something about the DVD-File allocation failed. I have included the log.text from my 5th and final try using this incorrect guide. Perhaps somebody smarter than me can figure out how to use this guide but I think there's something wrong with it. Here's my faillog.txt
