I've just begun the process of trying to set up a DVD Shrink and Nero 8 combo, and I've run into a couple problems.  I've pulled two DVDs from my collection to begin the process, each DVD presents a seperate problem.

I'm using a relatively new Dell Laptop with factory everything.
I downloaded DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 from Softpedia.com
I downloaded a Nero 8 Demo from Nero's own site.

Problem #1
As I'm trying to "open" one of my DVDs, I'm getting an error from DVD Shrink.  It begins to open the DVD, goes through the menu animations and such, but once it gets to the part in the beginning of the movie where the production studio's name is displayed, it freezes and shows a DVD read error.  This happens repeatedly with this DVD on 2 seperate laptops.

The error message reads:
"DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
Failed to read file "D:/"
Data error (cyclic redundancy check)"

Problem #2
The second DVD opens just fine.  I can go through the process of unchecking the boxes for languages I don't need.  I then move to backup the DVD.  I've tried it as both an ISO image and to a Hard Drive Folder.  Even though I've installed Nero 8, I don't seem to get the option in the dropdown box to burn directly using Nero.  The DVD is backed up about 1/10 of the way, presumably through the menu stuff, then freezes and displays:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "D:/"
Incorrect function.

I'm getting pretty frustrated, as I've installed DVD Shrink on two seperate laptops and have recieved the same errors on both.
Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated
