I used FUW 2.8 to convert a DVD to .avi   All semed to go well and it ouput an avi file.   My goal was to get a file I could use in Adobe Premier Elements (I have v1.0).   Adobe will not open the avi file nor will Windows Movie Maker.   Windows Media Player will not play it.   Given my objective, are there some settings in FUW that I should have used, or is this just not something the program does.  My goal is simply to take an exercise video and change the music track, then write a new DVD.

Thanks

Unlike other encoders, FU holds its own internal encoders in order to have no dependencies with the host system while running. You probably need to explicitly install the codec that you use for encoding.
