When encoding a DVD using MPEG4 standalone setting 2 pass 1400KB file size, with subtitles, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error dialog box.  Details read:

The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.  Please contact the application's support team for more information.

i'm getting the same error.  are you running sata 2 controller. because i am!
