This is probably a stupid question, but I am having huge problems with rolling on my pioneer dvr 650 with converted dvds.  The Dvds play fine on older dvd players, and comercial dvds play fine on the pioneer. Its driving me crazy.

While ,The converted DVD always decryped the primitive code of DVD format, while The DVD you bought only support encryped one , So it can not be played on your DVDs. I suggest you choose some well converter like xilisoft DVD Creator may be OK . But I am not sure.
