Wink Hi,shaty,I'm afraid that the file you downloaded is just a codec for .rm file.If it can give you video with subtitles that maybe bue to you haven't have right codec.Did your source file is .rm or .rmvb? And you can see the package is for v6.3,do you use that?
But in any case, you can get the video with subs finally. Grin

.............i thought the same the first time but...it really works...there are many oder files for winavi in that pakage besides rm...... Wink....tested it works.....
ex:avi movie ( mission imposible 3 2 cd ...xvid ) to dvd
ps: i have k-lite mega codec pack Wink
so i don't need any oder codecs
the thing is that winavi has problems with subs and this package solves it...
it doesn't have anything to do with rm or rmvb;)
thats just the name of the package...it has rm codec (its not a codec but whatever) there are some dll's there that are important for winavi....besidesssssssss rm Smiley
sorry for the long message but i'm trying to be explicit...
just try it!

YES! It works!

I've posted the problem 3 months ago, finally.... Thanks shaty!

Earlier on, I was using TMGPEnc Plus to do it, I don't favour it because it takes too long a time to do a job. Eventually, I bought a MPEG4 (DivX) player after some frustration on the time it consume, about a month ago. I am not please with the font display from the player, it is small and not easy to read in a haste. I tried using 'AviSub' and 'srt2bmp' to have the subtitle embedded but the subtitle do not display. Another setback. Sad

Now with this solved, I really like it. The only fall back is the quality of the movie display resolution. Some heavy drama or dialogue movie, I do not mind.

I am using Arial, Font size 14 or 16.
How about you guys? Your font type and size? Smiley
Thank you.

Μany many many thanks Shaty AND CMaderaG !
It works for me BUT only with combination with what CMaderaG said :
"Additionaly u must have uncheck "Pre-buffer subpictures" in Misc Options from DirectVobSub."

Have anyone tried to uncheck only "Pre-buffer subpictures" in Vobsub without downloading the rmdll package?I wonder if it also works this way ... Smiley

I have put the dll files in the programs map but it don't works.Again missing subtitles.
Now i change the settings of vodsub 'pre buffer subpictures'.I hope it's ok now.
