I've ripped a DVD onto my computer (it's a concert dvd) with the purpose of both converting it to play on my ipod and converting to mp3 to play as audio. 

The problem I'm having is that when I'm done ripping and converting I have a file with horrendous static on the audio instead of the actual music.  What am I doing wrong?
