Hi, and firstly apologies if I have been thick and missed something obvious but!
I have a wmv file on my PC that I would like to play on my dvd player. It'll accept all DVD formats, so that's not a problem.
What I've done is this:
Using Super, I converted the 1.5GBwmv file to a .vob file. But of course I want it good quality so taking some advice the settings on Super I used resulted in one big 4.4GB .vob file.
I've since realised that .vob files aren't supposed to bigger than 1GB, but here I have this 4.4GB.vob file
Which plays perfectly well on my pc.
But I want to burn it to a DVD (using DVD-RW at mo, but shouldn't matter) and Nero and or other programs I have won't let me burn the .vob file as its too big.
So:
1. does that mean I have to accept less quality and reduce the file size of the .vob when I convert it from wmv using Super?
2. or has Super messed up and converted the wmv file wrongly
3. or is there another way I can convert the wmv file to play on my tv via the DVD player that is still high quality.
The programme I want to burn is 1hr49mins long btw
A newbie thanks you all in hopeful anticipation.

I do have ConvertX to DVD but can't understand how to do it, as it doesn't appear to recognize my DVD=RW file.
