hi, i have been using winavi to convert to dvd with no probs but the last few dvd's i have burned play great untill the last 10 mins or so and then they start breaking up and eventualy freeze i am unsure if this is the conversion or the burn or my player that's at fault i am using philips dvd+rw1-4x  a optiarc dvdrw ad-7530a ata and nero 8 to burn any help or advice would be appreciated

I think that the problem you have ever met is not related to the DVD-RW but with the software you used . You have metioned that you use nero. Actually nero is not a very good DVD burning tool. I suggest you use professional DVD burning tool like Xilisoft DVD Creator. it will provide you very good burning quality and always without trouble !
