No sound when i play movie on dvd player

I used dvd shrink 3.2 and then created the dvd with roxio creator basic. When i play movie on pc with power dvd it works perfectly. When i play dvd on dvd player there is no sound except for the menu i created with roxio.
I think it has something to do with most of the dvd files being ac3 audio or something.

Can someone please tell me how i can get the sound to work on dvd player?

While that just caused by the format when you created. PC DVD can read anyformat due to it 's special design. but DVD player will be different ! It can not play some format like RMVB and so on. Your best choice is creat the format to Vob format . I also suggest you use better Creator like Xilisoft DVD Creator.
