Not created DVD’s before and filaing ... created a load of shiny drinks coasters so far !

Successfully downloaded loaded first DVD fiim using BitTorrent.

It has created a downloaded folder with film name, within which are a sub folder with name of the film, and 2 artwork files, and a Torrent pages text file.
Within the sub folder are:
8 .VOB files
3 .bup files
3 .IFO files

If I open Windows media player and select play on any of these files the film plays perfectly.
So I’m confident it has received the DVD files OK.

However I want to create a watchable DVD .. in a standalone DVD player.

I have tried burining from Vista windows utility - there is a windows icon at top of window that shows ‘burn’  - It created a disc wth all the above files in ... but no AUDIO_TS or VIDEO_TS folders

But the disc it creates will not play in a standalone DVD player ... it shows 'unsupported' (I can open & play with WMP on a PC)

I then tried with Roxio 9 ... but that creates a playbale DVD but with no soundtarck ... preview  states it does not support AC3 and will replace sound trcak with siilence !

I also tried NCH Easy Burn .... again it created a DVD that will not play in standalone player but can be played via WMP on PC.

I don't really want to go and buy a new copy of Roxio, or Nero .... is there a way around this.

The PC (Vista ultimate) also has Wndows DVD maker and installed, if that is any help.

Did you ever get an answer to this???  I am having the same problem.  I now also have quite a few new "shiny coasters".  Our stand alone DVD players don't recognize the disc.  We even tried playing in in the PS2.
