I have the trial version of TMPGEnc, for the first two weeks it was great worked every time no problems.  But as of recent every it has been freezing the computer, I have to turn the machine off at the power button.
I have done nothing to encourgage this problem or aggreviate it.
Please help, as I really want to buy this program but wont if this problem pursits. Sad

If TMPEGEnc freezes then it\'s probably because of a corrupted video file you are using.

If it freezes the whole PC, I suggest you look for a driver conflict problem or a problem with your CPU\'s cooling, especially if you encounter freezes with other cpu-eating activities.

Windows explorer hangs and nothing..  Yeap!  What Version of windows are you running?  Did you update you Direct X to version 9?  www.windowsupdate.com to update your windows.

Also you could have corrupted Active X controls,  This happen to me a while ago on XP while trying to get Aol version 9 to work and freeze up on me.  All I did to fix this problem was to remove all the active x control I had installed and start over, whick will be downloaded again while running some programs that need them.

To remove active x controls just goto the c: drive and to windows directory and look for a folder call Downloaded Program files You will see a big e on the folder it self.

Also need to know if you use Media player and the version of Media player you are running?  thanks
