Ok, I am following step-by-step the instructions on how to make a divx from DVD. Everything runs smooth, but when i look at the movie it is compacted. Like, I am trying to use a 24 minute episode and when I look at it, it is only 19 minutes. All the video and audio is faster. What is wrong here?

Probably you have set the wrong fps in the Input Settings window and you have selected a bigger one. Check it out.

At the Input Settings window (step 4) Output Frame Rate value.

What DVD is it?

If it is NTSC try selecting the \"Force 24HZ\" option.

I used the detect and force options and it still does the same thing.

NTSC DVDs have trouble like that.

Try selecting-deselecting \"Audio/Video Synchronisation\"

It happens with all my players know. Weird, it happens with my RealOne, Windows Media, and even my Divx player. The will play other divx files but not the one I am trying to encode.
