When im using tmpgenc to convert an avi file to mpeg 2, sometimes the number of frames seems to be far to high.  For example, a 90min avi file which should be roughly 130000 frames in length will appear to be 400000 frames.  once the actual film has finished, there will then be 200000+ blank frames at the end which tmpg attempts to convert but it will then say encoding aborted about three quarters of the way through the total conversion.  Any ideas as to what may be casuing this??
