Im sorry if this question has allready been answered somewhere.

Ive previously been backin up dvd to cd using xvid with fantastic results.
I allways use a resolution of 640x368 and every time its a success however i want fullscreen. Ive tried but my image skips and audio is out of time makin it look and sound like some reel to reel chinatown kung fu flik.

Could somebody tell me what is the best settings with xvid to get full screen or do i need other software or what??

I currently use smart ripper, dvdx with xvid.   Thanx.

If the movie is 16:9 then you can not make it full screen without making the people have long head, and generally make the movie look not so nice!

If the movie is 4:3 then use resolution 640x480 to create a full screen movie.

Thanks for the quik response. Ive decided to just backup my dvd\'s straight to dvd-r with dvd clone. Its so much quicker and easier. Iwish I knew about it before. Of course i only get one movie per disc as opposed to 6. But dvd\'s are cheap now, can get them for 80c AUS. So its not really a factor.

Thanks again and keep up the good work guys. This forum ROX. Ive searched the web high and low for answers before but i ve never found it all in one place like this.
