Hey guys, I\'m in a bind. I\'m trying to copy some scenes from a DVD that I worked on to show to future employers. I had no problem ripping it to my drive but when I try to convert to AVI, I cannot get the quality I am looking for. No matter what I do I continually get blocky, pixelated images. What software can a retard like me use to produce high quality vid res AVIs ? (this AVI will later be edited and recorded to VHS) thanks for the help

Use a codec like DivX or XviD. There are some guides about that in site (link on the top).

If you use a CD you can get an hour of very good quality.
