I\'ve been trying to get this file onto a DVD-R disk for a couple days now, but for some reason Nero, Roxio and DVD X COPY haven\'t been able to do it for me? Anyone have any advice for this situation?

You should import the mpg file into an authoring program and then create the DVD files before you burn.

In http://www.dvd-guides.com/ you can find some authoring guides.

Do you know which program I can do that with?

Preferably a free one

The only free one is IfoEdit, but there is no guide here.

Other choices are DVD X Maker and TMPEGEnc DVD Author, but not freeware.

Do you know who I could talk to about converting it through IFO edit?

Well I have IFOEdit, but then what do I do with the file once it\'s opened?

No, you first create a DVD MPG file using TMPEGEnc and then you author the DVD using IfoEdit from DVD Author -> Author New DVD.
