Hi everyone!
I have a prb with one dvd. I tried to copy that dvd with clone dvd2 but it didn\'t worked. It seems to be scratched or something...and it can\'t play properly one scene from this dvd. So i ripped it with dvd decrypter. I have all files .BUP .IFO and . VOB.
my prb is that in vts 01_2.VOB  at 0:04:06 starts second scene of the movie that i want to delete (cuz that\'s the scene that doesnt work. dvd shrink didn\'t copy the files corrupted probably cuz of the scratch..) but the 4 first minutes in this vts_01_2.VOB is the end of the scene vts_01_1.VOB.
So i want to know now how can i save this end of scene from vts_01_2.VOB (the first 4 min)?
What should i do to copy these files on a dvd and make it work properly?
What do you suggest to fix the problem?
thanks for answering,

Go out and buy a DVD DR.
I was a manager of a BlockBuster Video, and I can tell you that that thing rilly do work.It\'s like $30.00-50 but it Will fix your DVD.
There\'s not much you can do if the file it croupt from a scrached DVD,you can\'t simply fix it,because you\'d need a non-croupt dvd to work from.

DVD DR is that a software?
Where can i buy this?
there is indeed a scratch on the dvd. There must be a way i hope to repair this dvd\'s files and therefore create a \'title\' in order to copy only desired scenes from that dvd on prg such dvd shrink...
thanks for helping;)

It\'s not softwere, its hardwere. You can find them at comp stores and video stores.Heres some of them:

http://www.tapeandmedia-data.com/detail.asp?product_id=DVDDR-RAK

The last one it the one my store used.Sell\'s for about $15.00-30 and is just as good as the others.

With a scrached DVD,sadly no.It go\'s beyond softwere and to hardwere. There is not prog that can fix a crouped dvd that has been scrached.Back at BBV we had a trick. Now if you do this,I warned you that is can brake the dvd even more. They say if you use some high grade window cleaner and a very fine cotton cloth:all most like silk\",going in cercles very hard and fast;you can fix a scrashed dvd.
As for this meun you speek of,is this the same thing;or are you talking about makeing a dvd meun?If yes,I\'d use Nero Recode 2,before going out and forking over some $80+ on a dvd pro maker app.dvd-guides has been asked many time\'s for an app that will let you make slectable meuns;so we\'ll be sure to keep an eye out

If the DVD is not that scratched, you can try:

DVD Decrypter, open settings,  click the I/O tab and select ignore read errors and set retries to 0. Then try to rip the files. The DVD will have problems where the read errors will occur but you will watch the most of the movie.

Try a products like 321Studios DVDXRescue which does the same thing actually but with an error correction mechanism.
Get it here:

I these does not work, try what Tank suggested you and if you fail again, then you can throw away the DVD safe and easy!  :?
