Ok first lets go ahead and get the basics ota the way.  VCD -750 mb, DVD - 4.7 gigs.

Now I have a series of shows that I downloaded (they\'re legal) and when I burn them to a VCD I can fit 3 of them onto one CD.  When I burn them to a dvd, I can fit 3.  I know the file types are different.  Mpeg\'s are large files.  But is their any way I can fit more onto a DVD without loosing to much quiality?

You can fit almost as many VCDs in a DVD as the calculation 4380/750= 5 VCDs.

Here\'s a guide:

well thats cool, and i see how it works, it would make a VCD onto a dvd.  But the thing is, i havnt made the VCD\'s yet.  I have about 60 episodes of this show.  And I want to put them onto DVD\'s.  But I dont want to waste 20 dvd\'s, when it could take 20 cd\'s.  Id rather it only take 4 cd\'s.

Thanks for your time and responding

You can fit them straight into DVD actually. You see VCD is much worse than DVD, it\'s even worse than VHS, if you are OK with that go on. Otherwise I\'d suggest that you encode the episodes to DVD using TMPGEnc, author and burn with a nice menu, maybe 3 or 4 episodes in every DVD (arround 240mins).
