I had to refourmat my HD because of bugs and such.Any wasys I reinsted my DVDx and did the settings for the DivX5.1.1 at :
http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=dvdrip&name=divx5
But every time I goto RiP the DVD I get:
Unable to read from\"D:\\VIDEO_TS\\vts_08_1.vob\"
AND
MPEG2Dec:Error during decoder initialisation

Now Because I had to redo my HD,I think I might be missing a app to get this to work, can you think of any thime I may be missing ? I have RiPed the same DVD before,Soi know It can be done with this one.

I got the Adeptec Vd Drivers, but I can\'t figure out how in intst this,I read the readme, and I clicked on the install and the dos srreen pops up,then when I press a button it closes. Is that all I need to do ?

I think, more like I guess I just installed it,but now I still get the 2 old messages with this new one:
auth.dll:Can\'t authenticate drive Disk may not be locked

What I am doing wrong?

Make sure you have installed ASPI correctly, it\'s quite simple you just click the ASPI4ALL.EXE and then run aspichk.exe to see if the drivers are installed correctly.

Have you tried ripping a DVD that successfully worked before?

Can you playback DVDs in your PC?
If not, I think you must be missing a DVD Video decoder plug in. Have a search at Microsoft site to find more.

I can.But get this, the oddest thing happen today,I can now use DVDx and I don\'t know why,But there a catch:It will only RiP a few mins, or so I guess, this is how it works:
I start the riping and come back in like 40min,(i\'m riping a 30min anime)but the thing don\'t stop there.it just restarts over again and rerips, but at the bottom on the startbar it says DVDx2.2[23.1%] And thats after it has redone the riping and it has been O say something like 1 hour.I\'m so at a loss for what to do that this point.I might as well just buy a riping app
I am trying to use the Dr.DivX with DVD Decrypter but it can detect the sound,I must just have the worst of luck.

Install AC3Filter and Dr.DivX will detect the sound.

I fixed it,for themost part, but this it what I do,and it seems odd:

I use DVD Drecrypter to brake the dvdlocks and get the raw iso of it.
Then I open DVDx and slect the iso,I then rip the iso in an DivX5.1.1 codec forurmat and BAM! I have it now, seems odd,but least it works.

Thanks for your input tho,I really am greatfull.
