Hi Afonic. How are you?? I\'m pretty good.

I\'m messing around with my Full Screen VCD\'s. How do i convert them over to a different format as Wide Screen 16:9?? So it can playback on my DVD Player. Is that even possible. Will Wide Screen cover my whole TV?? Will Full Screen cover part of my TV Screen?? Is that the differences?? Thanks everyone.

Fine thanks.

Full screen is 4:3 and fits a whole 4:3 TV screen (the plain TVs).

Wide screen is 16:9. These fill the 16:9 TVs (used in home theaters). In normal TVs (4:3) they are playable, but with black bars up and down the movie picture.

What TV do you have? (16:9 or 4:3)?

No problem.

Most likely my TV is 4:3 but not sure that\'s just a guess. I have a Philips TV. Without repairing anything. How make my TV Home Theater?? My TV is new but doesn\'t have the inputs or outputs of S/Video neither does my VCR. Is Wide Screen better then Full Screen?? If so, how can i convert my VCD\'s and SVCD\'s to Full Screen?? Thanks.

First of all I don\'t suggest converting any VCD/SVCD you have as if you do so the actors etc will look strange (with long legs, strange heads etc). Most DVDs are 16:9 so your SVCD probably are the same.

Home cinema TVs are 16:9 TVs, you don\'t make your TV a home cinema one, you buy a new one. And they are rather expensive if you want to get a good one!
