hi,

When i want to make a custom selection of the picture frame  (so without ripping the black stripes on top and below) in the output settings, my movie gets ripped out of its size, i mean for example the faces of the actors get really small or very wide, i tried fixing this by altering the resotlution but nothing works for me.

I use in output settings:
Zoom: custom (cause i dont want to rip the black stripes lol)

so if anyone knows a solution to my prob please do.

thx and greetz

Hi there,

custom is what it says, just drag the green lines you can see in the video preview using the boxes in the corners to select what part of the movie you want to keep.

I suggest you remove the black bars as they take space and show nothing!
If your movie is 16:9 then select 640x368 (or 352) and you will have no problems.
If the movie is 4:3 then select 640x480.
