Is it just me, or will the movie be in widescreen after you have encoded it with TMPEGEnc ? If so, is where can I change this ?

Also a question concerning the subtitles.. I have a .srt-file in the same map as the .avi-file, and when I started encode, DirectVobSub started up for a short while, and when the encoding was finished, I had got two subtitles.. one where about 10sec ahead (I believe it was mine) and one working perfectly.. two texts after eachother that means..
how is that ?
and is it just to remove the .srt-file from the map during the encoding ?

/A guy who is new about this stuff and who will be happy for some answers!

What are you trying to do, DivX to DVD? If the DivX has subtitles included, you don\'t have to add more of them! Now about the widescreen, you have full control about the aspect ratio, what is your source movie?

Sorry, I must have written in the wrong \"DivX/XviD-room\"...

Yes DivX to DVD.. the part about the DivX has subtitles included, I don\'t know how to \"check\" that.. but I guess it has that then, and I\'ll just remove the .srt-file during the encoding ?

When I looked at the movie it feels like it\'s widescreen.. and I don\'t have a widescreen-TV.. how to change it ?
My source movie is an .avi-file, or after encoding an .mpeg/.vob-file

If you play the AVI in WMP, do the subtitles appear? If yes, they are included.

Now about the aspect ratio, if it is 16:9 it will just have black bars on the top and bottom of the page, do not change the ratio or the actors will look strange with thin and long faces and other not so nice stuff like that.
