Please post here your media suggestions.

I use Philips DVD+R and TDK, Maxell, Princo DVD-R and all of them work fine!

I prefer to use generics or cheap store brands and have found that most of them work like a champ everytime.

Currently I use CompUSA\'s own brand (50qty 2x DVD-R for $20 USD, cant beat that.)

When I am out of those, I use the generics they sell on Americal.com without problems.

I only use  Ritek GO4 Printables.  Failure rate would have to be around 1 in every 500 carton, great value.

i have used platinum dvd r by bencole co. from microcenter........pure junk i got so many bad burns probably 10 out of 50 and also had problems playing the good burns ....lot of digitizing and pausing in the playback.......then i bought value disk from office max have not had any bad burns at all and they were 19.99 for 50..........4x speed ....so im sticking with them

i also use the ritek G04 and have never had any problems (fingers crossed) and these work out at around 30-40 pence a disk  Cheesy

I am using bulk pac printable and none printable not very impressed with result only getting about 70% quality burns at 4 speed I have also used plextor dvd+r and they are spot on 100% success rate.

You can get a free download called DVD Identifier V3.4 Build # 4
It will show you who the disk is made by in this case the Value Disks I have are green in color DVD+R 4.7 GB 4X
Made by CMC Magnetics Corp. Media Type F01

I use only Memorex DVD+R Printables in packs of 100 from CompUSA. I get a business discount and get the 100 packs for $30.00. They have been bulletproof, play every time, on every player, flawlessly.
