Hey! I chiped in 100 euros and while I don\'t expect special treatment I\'d like to think that  100 euros should be enough for at least a year of free updates.  I don\'t at all object to charging a small fee for a download as I\'m sure much work is involved in developing and maintaiing FU.  Still I kinda figure I already paid for my share.  At least for a year.  OK I did the math and 100 euros at 2 per month is 50 months or just over 4 years at the current rate.  UMP can you help me out on this one?

Here is a copy of the mail I just sent to you. Smiley

Hello,

the usual way things go is that people try FU first, then make a donation.
After that, I add the paypal account\'s email to my donators list so I can
send donators a 30-day access code when the next major release is out.

It seems you took another path by making a donation _before_ getting the
latest release, that\'s the reason why you didn\'t receive an access code
yet.
That is of course not a matter at all, so here is a valid access code :

xxxxx

Best regards,

Thanks!  I have said many times over the years how much I like FU and was happy to finally be able to put money where my mouth is.  I\'d do the same for FU2K.  Thanks again for all the work you have done on the project.

Rant:  My 2 cents on paying for programs.  If a program works great and is priced reasonably then I have no problem what so ever chipping in my fair share.  On the other hand it seems many programs do not work so hot and are overpriced and in such cases I have no problem with those who are relcutant to pay.  Fair Use definately falls into the first group as it has worked perfectly hundreds of times for me.
