Hello,

I looked around in the forum to see if this question had been answered, but it hasn\'t. So, here goes: I followed your guide to the T in backin\' up a DVD9 DVD to one DVD+-R. Everything worked fine except when I went to \'backup!\'

It stopped just before 1% and said (first): Copy Protection Error. I/O Device Error. Then (secondly) I took the \'Audio and Video TS\' folder check box off and it said: Incorrect Function.

I tried to burn with the \'Image Recorder\' instead of using the Hard Disk but I received the: Incorrect Function error message.

Any ideas? I know its possible but I can\'t seem to figure it out. I\'ve done before with my Band of Brother\'s discs (backin\' them up, I mean) and it worked fine. Not quite sure what to do.

Cheers,
Jon (jonaschafer at msn.com)

Hi,
as you have noticed the forum is new and we had lost all the 3000 posts in the old one, so until a big number of posts are made it is going to be impossible to find an answer.

Try playing the DVD for 30secs with PowerDVD or a similar player before you click backup. If this doesn\'t work, use DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD in your hard disk (there is a guide for that) and then load the VIDEO_TS file in DVD Shrink using the Open IFO option.
