Hello!

I\'m using DVDx 2.2 and Xvid codecs. At some point during the encoding, the app \"crashed\" but displayed a message \"Releasing video, do not kill the application\". But the app is not responding and really looks crashed.
I followed the exact steps from teh guide for encoding to Xvid, i\'ve got an Athlon 1800+ cpu.

As i\'m speaking, the app is still not responding.....

I couldn\'t find any mention of this case... :?

Hi,

Please wait, it can take from 10 to 40 minutes to get past this point.

The problem is that i\'ve found it like this about an hour ago.... and also, the status bar shows \"50%\"... I\'m afraid it crashed at 50% of the encoding....  But i\'m gonna leave it like this and cross all the fingers i\'ve got..Tongue

Also, i was running Emule at the same time and it seems Emule has some troubles since DVDx got stuck. Do you think both don\'t like each other?

You were right afonic. It finally passed that point. But it took AGES!!
In the end, it took 18h to encode my 3h20min video!!!

Is this normal?  Seems a bit long to me...Tongue
