hey everyone~i\'m really new to all of this avi and dvd burning stuff. i just recently found out that you can burn dvd\'s without having a dvd burner, as in, downloading them and changing their format. I\'ve been running into some roadblocks, however. I\'ve tried several programs to  burn movies, but either the movie is too long for my disk, nero seems to add too much additional space making it too long to fit onto the disk, and the latest thing i tried was winAVI because it looked so promising. I was following the walkthrough of it that I found at http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=othertodvd&name=winavitodvd
and all was going well until i selected my file to be converted, my output directory, and output format. When I selected these and pressed OK to proceed to step 4, an error message came up saying \"Fail in building directory!\" I have absolutely no idea what to do next, and all I want to do is to be able to burn some movies. Please someone help me out with winAVI or any other program you think may work for me. Thanks a lot

Sure. Like From The AVI form to DVD.  I want to be able to take the movie files that I\'ve downloaded and burn them so that I can watch them on a DVD player. Hope that helps.
