Have you selected the mpg file as the audio source in TMPEGEnc DVD Author?

Try to add it again and tell me the info of the file.
Are you sure you have encoded the file with TMPEGEnc. It should be 48KHz.

I have re authored it with TMPGenc, making sure the audio file is the same output as the video file. It was set to 48hz. It has now finished and I have the 2 folders, Video TS and audio TS. The audio has no files in it but I never used that in Nero anyway. How can I check the audio to see if it is good before burning?

Thanks for all your help

I suggest you burn using a DVD-RW. You can try loading the files with PowerDVD, but sometimes that way you will hear no audio even if it is there.

AUDIO_TS folder is empty, you don\'t have to put something inside.

I have had the same probs, It took me hours to work out. I downloaded a peice of software called Gspot that analyzes avi files and I noticed that the audio codecs are different.

click the url and read the topic and maybe this will help you
