Hi.  Apologies for the newbieness.  I\'m using smartripper, and I have read the guide on how to use it.  It all went well, and I now have a small series of VOB files.  I\'m at a bit of a loss as to what to do next.

I\'m looking to end up with a single media file at the end of this process, and was hoping someone could advise me as to what to do next.

Many thanks

Hi,

what do you mean single media?

Just tell me where you want to fit the film (CD or DVD or hard disk) and I will try to help!  Cheesy

I would assume he meant a dvd. Smiley

I too followed the guide and was wondering if I could put it back on to a dvd and if I could how I would go about it?

I was originally going to rip it to vcd then I found the guide about ripping them to a hard drive and thought that there has to be a way of reversing it (Putting them back on a dvd).

Anyway if you could possibly tell me what to do?

Thanks in advance.

Or should I follow your instructions in this other post?

Now I look like a real noob for not using the search button   but I should have noticed it cos it was only about 4 posts away from this one.

Please help!!!This newbie needs some clarification also: I use my Sony RDR-GX7 in the VR (video recording) mode alot. Use Sony DVD-RWs..edit commercials on this machine..very easy. I finalize them..I put similiar shows on these discs using EP..so they might contain 4 or 5 complete shows.
Use DVDDecrypter ISO to copy..this works great with DVD-Rs. When I try to copy the discs recorded in VR mode back from the hard disc..usually the process stops at about 94 to 96% done..error in reading sector etc. What am I doing wrong? Also would like to make compilation discs..can\'t seem to figure out how to extract the programs I would like to copy. Please advise.
