I bought winavi lastnight and had luck only coverting 1 avi file.
Tried to burn and got error messg right away:   Division by Zero
                                                  then Win avi encounterd a problem
                                                  application thru exception continue?

I also tried w/nero 6 followed intrst dragged and dropped the files in DISK_0 all were video ts  or vts files no audio. Clicked burn got error messg neroxpress found a problem dvd compilation may not be able to playback.


anyhelp is apprec. I have only been able to perform dvd to dvd copies using dvdshrink and nero and I need to be able to convert  my downloaded avi files to dvd so I acn get them of my harddrive!
Plese help me not waste $29.95.

Finally got some thing to work,burned 1 convert using winavi beta 5.
ratio set at 2.1 only option were 2.1, 2, or 1.
tried to watch on my new pioneer dvd player dv-270 it would not play.
played it on desktop using media player, real player, and cyber dvd.
All watchable except the frame rate is too slow any help greatly appreciated!!!!

Try to set the fps by yourself to the right value.

About burning you are doing a mistake as you drag the folder DISK and not just the contents. Have a look in the guide to understand how it should be:

Try new WinAVI v5.8  http://www.winavi.com
That maybe fixed the bug.

THANX TO ALL WHO HELPED! Its working good now w/ the combo of winavi dvd shrink and nero I was able to do what i wanted.
my only concern now is that my name and usr id(key) were sent to me and I have saved  them and followed the instr on entering them on the trial ware but some times it still says I have the trial version, how can I make sure that in approx three weeks my winavi which i paid for won\'t except my key that was sent to me?

any help greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!
