Way 1: (by AUSDVD)

This works great.

Do not start DVD Copy Xpress with a recordable disc in the burner. Run step 1 (ripping the disc). When this is finished and it wants you to start step 2 (burning the disc) leave Xpress running and do not start the burn.

Run IfoEdit and open the VIDEO_TS.IFO from the temp folder that Xpress is storing it in. Double click VMGM_MAT in the top window and highlight First Play PGC.

In the bottom window scroll toward the bottom of the window. You will see the PGC Command Table near the bottom. Look for the \"Pre\" command, right click it and then choose the \"Edit\" Command.

In the Command: option select (Jump_TT)Jump to Title
and in the Title Nr: just select 1

After changing these settings click \"Save\" and when it asks overwrite the \"BUP\". Now that you have closed IfoEdit, with a writable disc in the burner finish Step 2 (burning the disc) in Xpress.

Like I said there are other ways to do it, but this one is quick and easy. Have fun.

I searched everywhere for this.... Enjoy!!!!

Here is another way. You must have IFO Edit and VOBrator v0.2b. Open VOBrator and select Open & Scan. Go to your VIDEO_TS.VOB file and open it. Scroll through the various VOB (ID = X) and you may preview the video by highlighting it and pressing the play button. Now this is useful for ripping out other unwanting things like the annoying THX logo. To remove the DVDXCopy warning menu all you have to do go through and highlight the various VOB (ID = X) selections and to the right you will see

Packets: XX
Output: XX

Just look for the number 93 in both and that is always the warning menu. Now that you have located the warning menu, remember which VOB (ID = X) it was and open IFO Edit. Open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and in the bottom window scroll to the bottom (it will always be the last section) and you should see a list of something to this degree:

Menu X: [Entry Only] (Programs: X) (Cells: X)

To the right of the (Cells: X) column you should see some of the listed with (uses VOB-IDs: X). Just remember the number the warning menu was in VOBrator, highlight this and select \'Delete Playback\'.
Take out other VOB-IDs if you wish and then select \'SAVE\' (and make sure you do save it otherwise you will not have suceeded). When the \'over existing .bup files\' pops up select yes.

Now you have a movie without warning page.

This is a better way to stop playback of the disclaimer screen......and to direct DVD playback at the main menu first instead of just jumping into the movie.

NOW.....
In the Command: option select (Jump_TT)Jump to Titleset Menu and in the Title Nr: select \"1\", in Titleset Nr: select \"1\" and in Menu select \"root\".
After changing these settings click \"Save\" and when it asks overwrite the \"BUP\". Now that you have closed IfoEdit, with a writable disc in the burner finish Step 2 (burning the disc) in Xpress.

This will start the DVD at the Main menu as the original does, and will bypass the disclaimer screen.

Enjoy

I\'ve followed the instructions using IfoEdit, but can\'t figure out how to save it after making the changes.  The only save I can find in the program is under \"tools\" & says \"save celltimes to file,\" which saves it in a text file.  It didn\'t ask to overwrite the \"BUP\" as instructions suggest.

Can someone help me here?

If you are using IfoEdit v0.96, after you have made the necessary changes, you should see an Open button and Save button in the lower left hand corner.  Hope this helps.

iI have been using Ifo Edit to remove the warning screen successfully for some time now, but am experiencing something new.

By the way, I\'ve tried both ways (going straight to the move or direct to the menu) and like direct to the movie better, why, because when going to the menu, it does not always land you on \"Play Movie\" option. I guess it depends on how the menu is set up.

ANyway, my current problem is that on several movies, the subtitles are \"on\" when I play the movei. I then have to go tot he menu and turn it off.  Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you correct it?

Another question.  When you go to Jump to Titleset and choose #1 do you know what happens if you choose another #?

Thanks,
Jeff

Is there a way to put a personalized warning screen? For instance a splash page saying \"ripped by ?!?!?!?\"?

Hi, my name is Eugene and am member of this Afonic DVD group.

I read your posting regarding the IFO edit that allows you to
remove those anory warning message sign that shows at the
beginning of the DVD movie with the menu.

Like 20th Century Fox DVD movies, they always put that
Warning message at the very begining.  And that I have found
which file is located. \"VIDEO_ST.VOB\" file.

 Sad

I would like to get rid of that Warning message that shows at
the begining of the DVD movie, and I would like to keep the
menu with the movie to put on the DVD.

:?:  Where can I find the IFO edit?

Can it be downloads?  Would it work on Windows\'98 SE?

Thanks,
Eugene

Hi,

 Smiley
I really do like the IFO Edit. I try it and it worked for me.
But maybe I would need to get VOBrator that would allow
me to see the warning sign message, so I know what exactly
I\'m looking for to remove.

 :?:
Can you guide me to a site to download the VOBRator?

Thanks,
Eugne
