I just could\'t find or program has such a poor audio quality customization in mp3 format? Why is only bitrate available? What is about the frequency? How can I change it from 48000 to 44100? I quess it will reduce output file size, so it would be possible to inprove video quality. Or I\'m mistaken?

Converting frequency from 48000 to 44100 would be of no help in reducing file size because file size is relative to the bitrate. And before you ask, no you won\'t be able to significantly lower the bitrate by downsampling to 44100.

If you desperatly want to gain a few kb/s for you video, you\'d better go for 96 kp/s OggVorbis audio in an OGM or MKV container, or improve the video compression settings (through this will significantly slow down the conversion process).
