Sports, whats that? If I sit infront of my pc 10 hours a day playing games, can I call that sports?

Truth is,I did watch the Auzie 2002 games. But because \"NBC\"The TV CH bought all the rights to show it in the usa, they craped up showing it.They only  have 1 public CH,and they tryed showing 3 events at once, every day.Was real messed up.I think they bought the rights again,So I just don\'t caid for it now. Thanks NBC,you made my day a whole lot better

I could care less about sports and the Olympics personally.

My folks love to watch them however.

Nothing more exciting than some guys running a broom over ice while a big weight slides across it.

Why is there no BMX freestyle or skateboarding in the olympics?

Wake me up when the real olympics return to their origins... naked, death to the loser, only the strongest survive.

My folks were in greece when they were trying to get the olympics again, thy say they put on quite a show to convince the powers that be they are it.

Me personally, greece is the only place for real olympics.

I feel that their are just too many people thease days that just sit infront of their PC screen, and don\'t get a chance to go outside and enjoy life.I love to bike. Then again, not owning a car, would sort of make you like to bike too Cool

Yeah I like bike, basketball and football a lot, and in summer swimming.

horn, there was no death to the loser in the ancient Olympics. The thing is that they are so huge nowdays and everything in the big sports is done about the sponsors and the money, and not forget all drugs and other stuff. What a shame...  Sad

Should have been death to the losers then!;)

hehe. I would be one of the first ones to die, I am not a physical specimen.

I rarely exercise, spend most of my time inside playing video games watching movies or on my computers.

Im old and fat. But that just means there is more of me to love.

Anyway the think is that these advertisment and stuuf make all believe they should be athletic, tall and with a nice body. I don\'t think it\'s true! After all the result of continuing beer drinking are clear in my body!

Well this story is pretty bad, but the think is that all of the sprinters around the world take drugs, not just these two ones.

For example Marion Jones failed to qualify (!) in most of the sports she had won the gold metal a year ago, while her husband Tim, world-record-holder failed to qualify too, being 7th (!) in US trials.
Why? They start checking them for drugs too!

That\'s why I say that the big sports in Olympics are not clear, as everyone takes drugs. I preffer to watch smaller ones, with no big sponsors and stuff.
