I dont know if i am on the good forum to ask about burning to DVD

I have some old S-VHS video tapes which i like to copy them on DVD
On my pc there is a pinnacle TV-pro card

By this card i imported the VHS-movie from 30 minutes
The format that is generated is \"MPEG\"
I try to copy this on DVD but that didnot work
Through this site i found the software \"WINAVI\"
And with this program i translated the \"MPEG\" to  \".VOB\"
So far so good

The last step doesnot work, that means when i want to burn
on DVD nothing happened

So i like to know is here a solution possible

I used the WINAVI software

We need some more info, what exactly the problem when you try to burn?
WinAVI burning engine has some issues, why don\'t you try Nero or CopyToDVD?

Hi

Above you see the message you send me
I like to reply now

I dont know the problem because everything seems ok till i start burning
and then nothing happens
Normally you can how far it is  ( 2 % or 50 % and so further)
But only 0 % i see that is all
When i close the programm a message appears \"this programm is not responding\"
On your site i saw now today \"dvdSanta\"
I will try this one
I dont have Nero or CopyToDvD

Yeah it must be a problem of the writing engine of WinAVI.

Download dvdSanta trial and give it a go.
