Hi!
first, thanks for a great guide on how to make dvd\'s out of vcd.
http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=othertodvd&name=vcdtodvdI\'ve completed the guide and made a dvd out of a bunch of vcd files but theres one little problem with playing it on a standalone DVD Player, it keeps \"fast forwarding\" the video like every 20seconds and the sound is left behind so video and audio go unsynced after that, by fast forwarding I mean the video goes in 1 second like 5 seconds fast forward all of the sudden.
Now this happens only with my TV\'s DVD Player, when I play it on computer, everything works perfect but when I go to the living room to play it on TV, its all screwed...
first I thought maybe it because I burned it at too fast speed (4x) but then I tried another one with (1x) and it still does it
I also did a readability test on the disc with this program called DVDXRescue and the results follow: \"Disc appears to be bad, 252sectors per second, 6.00% Soft Errors, 0.00% hard errors\"
well obviously this line explains alot on why its playing so crappy on the dvd player but why it works perfect with my PC? and whats causing the readability test to say that? is it bad media or did something go wrong with conversion or something else?
the discs I burned the vcd\'s on are Sony\'s DVD+R 4x
thanks for your help in advance
