Software recommendation for creating scene clips from DVD

I want to be able to create clips of scenes from various DVDs and then write them to a new disk. What software would you commend for creating the clips? I have both Roxio and Pinnacle Studio for creating the disk and menus for accessing the clips.

Hmm, you can use DVD Shrink and the start-end feature to create the clips and then an authoring program to create the DVD.
