The error message I get is \"cannot open, or unsupported\". I tried moving the Directshow to the highest priority. But still no good. I checked the codecs of the file with Gspot and for the Video & Audio codecs, they all say \"n.a.\" U ever have this problem? I am sure it\'s SVCD because WinDVD plays the file fine.

Have you used the VCDGear tool as I say to do so if you have trouble?

If it just crashes there must be a problem in TMPGEnc. You may want to re-install it or try to find any conficts with other programs.

Steps 2 to 4 in the guide (http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=othertodvd&name=tmpegencvcdtodvd)  show you make 2 or more discs to encode together.
