ok, i used this guide - How to convert VCD/SVCD To DVD using TMPGEnc Plus - and got the file encoded, i merged the files using dv-tool, the file was 4.3 gbs and when i tried to burn it with nero only half of the file was burned to my dvd-rw (used that so i wouldn\'t waste dvd-r\'s  Cheesy ) COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME CORRECT THIS ERROR.  i\'m tryin svcd2dvdmpeg now and its been on step four for about 45 min (it says patching video stream sequence headers (step 4 of 4).

I didn\'t understand a thing! What does svcd2dvdmpeg has to do with all that?

Does the mpg files play correctly? Have you authored the DVD?[/list]

sorry iwas talkin too much, frustration   .

it has nothing to do with it.  i was just adding that because i\'m tryin to see if thats any different.

if you can offer some assistance on the TMPGEnc Plus guide that would be GREAT!!!

yes i authored it with TMPGEnc dvd author.

but i checked the files with nero before i burned them, and it showed the entire movie from start to finish.  when it finished burning, it had cut off the entire second cd, they were merged together by the way, using dv-tool.

Hmm, why didn\'t you used the join method I describe in the guide, doesn\'t it work?

it didn\'t have anything in there about joining.  or i was just missing it.  i read it like 50 times.  i believe the last time tho, i used TMPGEnc to merge the files.

can u give me the link that shows how to join the mpeg files.  i used dv-tool to join and it\'s easy to tell where they are merged.
