Hi there

Just started using WinAVI 5.8 and have converted an avi file. Problem is there were 2 folders created instead of the normal 1 folder. The 2 folders contain the complete avi spread between the 2 folders but the VOB files have the same name, so I can\'t burn to DVD.

Can anyone help me out with this prob.

Many thanks

Tony

Are the two folders created so thata  DVD larger than a 4.7gig disc will fit on 2 discs or do they seem to be more random?

You are quite right about splitting due to size, I cannot believe that did not occur to me.

Disk_0 = 3.9Gb
Disk_1 = 1.49Gb

Many thanks for your help.

Glad to help.

BTW, if you were running Win98, it would have probably been the 3.99gig file size limit in Fat32 that caused the split.
